Don’t Hide Your Pride

Every year I look forward to Pride weekend in Northampton, MA.
I usually DJ the early shift at Diva’s Night Club on Saturday after the Pride parade.

This year was a bonus for DJ Lori B. Not only did I DJ at Diva’s but I also hosted Out For Reel’s “After Party” which was on Friday night prior to Saturday’s festivities.  It was my third “After Party”, second at the Clarion in Northampton, MA.

From a DJ stand point both parties were outstanding. I played a wide range of music from the 70’s to current dance/top 40; Katy Perry, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Usher, Beyonce, J. Lo, BEP and more.

I entertained over 600 guests between the two parties. Both dance floors were full as people came together to celebrate their Pride. Awesome.

Got Rewards?

I’ve been a bad bad DJ for not posting as frequently as I should. The good news: I’ve been a  busy busy DJ over the past several weeks, working with fabulous clients and filling dance floors from Western Massachusetts, The Berkshires and Connecticut.

I’m going to recap over the next few days some fantastic and fun Martini Events.

Recently, Chicopee Savings Bank rolled out a new banking product called “Rewards Checking”.  It’s a great product in which you can earn 2.51% interest on checking account balances.

The Bank went all out to educate and promote “Rewards Checking” to members of their staff at CSB Rockin Eve. The event was held at the Paramount Theatre in Springfield, MA. Everyone was encouraged to “rock out” and dress for the occasion. Teams of employees performed  karaoke versions of “You Shook Me All Night Long”, “Pretty Woman” and “Proud Mary.” Executive Managers parodied “American Idol” judges, complete with verbal “Yo dog you sound pitchy.”

I worked this event with my colleague DJ Brian Nicks. We brought in up lighting, a fog machine and special LED lighting effects to complement the event and concert. The pictures below tell the story of how much fun this event was. CSB ROCKS.
