It’s been a busy time for DJ Lori B and Martini Productions. I’m having a blast DJing all sorts of events and the fun won’t be stopping anytime soon. Below is a recap of events that I’ve recently hosted.
Ellington High School, Ellington , CT: The school held a fundraiser for the Tsunami victims in Japan. The dance was for three hours and over 300 students attended. It was my first event for the school and I wanted to make a favorable impression. I brought in three 15″ JBL EON G2’s an 18″ powered subwoofer, up lighting and really fun LED dance floor lights.
Transformed the cafeteria into Club Ellington. Students danced all night to songs by Wiz Khalifa, Kesha, LMFAO, Rihanna and The Black Eyed Peas. Not only was it a great dance but the students raised over $1,000.00. Awesome.
Bay Path College: I worked three events in two days for the college. I hosted their semi-formal at Elmcrest Country Club. High energy from the start. The food was wonderful and I must say so was the DJ. 🙂 I played a variety of requests including the Cupid Shuffle, S& M, Yeah 3x, More, I’ve Got a Feeling, What The Hell, and Don’t You Wanna Stay.
The next day I played on the “green” for three hours. It was a beautiful spring day. Students enjoyed BBQ and the variety of music I played including disco, 80’s & 90’s party music, and top 40 dance.
After my stint on the “green”, I made my way to Blake Student Commons to DJ a fashion show. Seating started at 6:30 P.M and I played a cd of Lady Gaga remixes that I made. The music fired up the crowd who were there to see great fashion and creativity. During the show I played music from Brittney Spears, Rihanna, Inna, DJ Webstar and New Boyz to complement specific themes during the show. The show was fabulous.
